Handcrafted Beer in Indianapolis

Celebrating Craft Beer with Each Batch

We love great beer. Our small-batch, handcrafted approach celebrates the art of brewing. Starting on the foundation of traditional styles, we take it up a notch with specialty spices, aromatic hops and increased alcohol. That’s how we create big ales. We take great pride in Indy as a growing beer city and we’re honored to share our respect for beer with you.

It’s our mission to brew the best beer in Indy and to do all we can to add to the beer culture of our Indiana city. We fill growlers, serve pints and offer carryout bottles from our downtown taproom. Indiana City beer is also available at select craft beer bars around the city.

What’s in a Name?

Indiana City is the literal definition of “Indianapolis” and it’s a statement of pride in Indy’s vibrant arts scene and rich heritage. Indiana City celebrates a promising future for the Circle City, one pint at a time.

The Arts & Beer Culture

We understand the important role of visual arts in the craft beer experience. When you smell and taste a beer you’re experiencing the artistry of the brewer who made it. The visual aesthetic of the label arts or the tap handle it was poured from affects that experience too. Done well, we believe visual art heightens that experience and leads to an even greater respect for beer.

Indiana City is an outlet for local artists to display their work, perform, collaborate and expand local creative expression. The visual arts are woven into every beer we brew.
